Are trustees under a duty to make good decisions?

Beneficiaries may disagree with trustee decisions, but that does not provide a legal basis for challenging them.

The question is not whether the trustees have acted wisely, but whether they acted in good faith.

Only if the decision is so irrational that no reasonable trustee could have reached it will the court look into it.*
