NZ RESIDENT VISA
On 30 September 2021, the New Zealand Government announced a new residence category – 2021 Resident Visa. This is available to some work visa holders, and some critical purpose visitor visa holders currently in New Zealand. The 2021 Resident Visa is a new one-off residence visa pathway for people whose primary purpose for being in New Zealand is to work.

Applications are open for remaining eligible applicants. All applications under the one-off resident visa category must be submitted by 31 July 2022.
Applicants will need to satisfy health and character requirements, but there will be no English requirement and no age restriction for applicants.
For eligible applicants who have partners and dependent children (including those overseas), residency applications can be submitted to include family members.
