When you have raised a question and it didn’t go well

What happens when you raise a question and the trustees’ reaction seems unreasonable?

People tend to be defensive if they feel like they being accused of something.

Unfortunately, rather than owing up to a mistake or being up front with information, the temptation for trustees may be to duck for cover.

Sometimes a trustee’s reaction is legally significant in itself. The court will look at all the circumstances, including the trustees’ reactions.
