Simon joined the firm in 2013 after many years as a legal academic. He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the law, and a keen interest in trends that determine the way legal cases are decided. Any law that’s not already stored in his memory he can quickly research, and deftly present. He also has a gift for getting an expression just right. Simon plays a key role in the firm’s litigation work, and and he will often come up with incisive input, particularly in trust cases and relationship property disputes.

Simon’s amazing memory also extends to an amazing array of stories, obscure facts about history, and his love of sport. In the weekends, he follows his boys round the rugby paddock.
